Pure Binchotan active charcoal is known as the highest quality activated purifying charcoal. Binchotan charcoal is created by burning oak branches at extremely high temperature and then rapidly cooling them down. 

The Pure Binchotan Active Charcoal Water Filter Sticks will purify water and absorb toxins. Its process of activation carbonises the structure of the wood, leaving countless microscopic cavities that easily trap unwanted toxins. Its porous nature draws chemicals out of tap water, naturally softening and improving its taste.

How to use:

To keep the charcoal stick clean and fresh, first boil the stick for up to ten minutes before placing inside your SoL cup or Large SoL bottle. We recommend to do this every two weeks to freshen it up. You can reuse the charcoal sticks over and over again for up to three months.

After first boiling it, simply place a charcoal stick in your Large SoL bottle or SoL Cups and leave to infuse overnight to transform regular tap water. Or a minimum of 2 hours before drinking the water to let it do its job of purifying. 

For other uses, indoors, place one stick in a cupboard, wardrobe, fridge or inside shoes to remove odours and dampness.

Beyond purifying water, charcoal traps odours in the air and can be planted in garden earth to stimulate healthy soil, or added to a hot bath to enhance blood circulation.
